TOWN

TAWN was at town ytd with xiaoting and meibin. we jay walked and it was frightening. imagine yourself crossing the orchard road with so many cars. the funny thing is there wasnt any cars while we were crossing but it never fails to scare me. ha ha ha. i was screaming. fortunately we werent dead or else i wun be blogging. ha ha ha. okay. and we were rather pleased after we got to the tangs plaza side. until two guys came up to us eagerly to ask us if we had time to spare blarblarblar. yea. and it was obvious that they were asking for donations, cos of the file or wat they were holding. our natural reaction was to disappear. ha ha. but we are humans too. so we cant do that. and we split up and walked different directions. so there, the two guys din manage to get us. only after mb and xt said then i realised that one of them was mute and was using sign language to communicate with us. feeling so guilty ]: somethings small things that we do unintentionally may hurt someone in the process. they might learn how to express their thoughts to others or choose to keep it to themselves. simple gestures can brighten up someone else's day too. which is really sad ): can you imagine how would life be if you lose your voice. you cant talk, gossip, hear your own laughter, shout at someone you hate or emo with your teddy bear. ha. its really depressing. but theres nothing i can do. i am not a scientist and i never wan to be one. so its up to the scientist to invent something which can let those who cant talk, talk again. sweetest thing on earth (: woo ! but i think that donating through er envelopes? or volunteering? or flag day is fine and more reliable. i dun believe in doing street donating. i heard that those who always take a file/smthg rectangular, standing along the orchard road, asking pple to donate are not really volunteers. they kinda earn some commission in the process. they might earn peanuts but its as if we donate and part of our money goes into their pockets. shouldnt all the money donated go to the organisation? maybe i got it wrong that they earn some income in the process. also, they like to pester the passers-by to donate . hmmm. okay. at least i learnt how to walk at my fastest pace when i see these people and learn how to "disappear" ? oooohhhhhhhh. we ate the korean ban fan and hokkien mee at food republic. the rice was super duper just nice ! and the hokkien mee.. i dun like it. ha ha ha.
