pulau ubin night cycling trip (:

the pulua ubin day 5 to 6 sept, night cycling for the second time at pulua ubin :D


and it was a an extremely weird day.
know what happened?
i was actually calculating what time should i get outta my house, (were suppose to meet at 5:45pm in scl), and i thought that i needed around 2hrs to get to the school. so i figured out that i need to get out at around 3:45pm. i think i am crazy. becos i rmbered wronlgy, i only need 1hr to get to scl actually. totally forgot, how could i?
so i was like thinking a am a dead meat, that i am so darn late cause i was out of my house at 4:00pm i think. i was in sucha rush!
and then, i spent the whole journey to scl thinking that i am late. and later, i realised that i am really early, it was then that i realise that my journey to scl is only 1hr.
speaking of being forgetful.
so ya, i was the earliest person to reach. as usual, ha ha
i went to the toilet and i realised that my lousy track pants(my sis's) was spoilt, as in there is a whole line of holes at centre of the pants, the threading part.
HORROR!
it was super obvious cause my panties's like in a very striking light colour.
and so, i immediately called mb and xt to buy shorts for me. thankyou(:
if not...
oh yes, and then, when i thought that while waiting, i should fill up the indemity forms for all of us. i realised that wewere short of one form! it was pretty serious cause we cant go for the cycling of we dun have the forms. so i quickly went to photocpy. fortunately, easy printing was open(:
okay, the end of all the weird stuff( :
ha ha, it was sucha weird day that we kinda wanted to give this event a miss.
but we didnt!
and it was really diff from last year's cycling, i liked this year's better though(:

xt and i in the toilet, we reported really late, like at 6:20pm

ha ha, on the bus, it was really funny. i kept sprouting nonsensical stuff to xt. thanks for listening!

some takeaways from this trip!
bites from sand flies..
din use any insect repellent, and thats so dumb of me.
i thought mosquitoes dun bite me, but sand flies do.


oh ya, the trip was v fun: D

i like that we took care of each other and gave each other support to keep cycling up the hill(:

towards the end, like we stopped cycling and stopped over at some part of pulua ubin to eat and rest. we ate steamboat this year! it tastes good actually!

and then it poured! ha ha, oh ya, i din mention that i forgot to bring any water and raincoat right.. only realised it when i asked xt for some water, then she asked me, "din you bring any water?!" and i was like "NO!? ha ha ha ha"

such a joke.

ya, it was raining and guess wat, we tried to built a shelter above our heads using the floor mat. ha ha, and greg was instructing them like do this do this do that and like.... after so long, we decided that it was better to hold the floor mat instead. ha ha, i think the pple are really bad. after so much hassle, thy told us to go into a shelter, which they had!

so they had a shelter all along, ha ha. and we were so wasted at that time. but we had a great deal of fun in the rain, ha ha.

and it was near dawn, we didnt have any dry spot to sit, so we stood. and we rested our heads on the person next to us, forming a small circle. poor don, being really tall compared to us, he had to knock his head onto mine. ha ha, and we slept abit in this weird position. so en ai :D
