sakae sushi: mum, sis, wilfred and i ichiban sushi: mum, sis and i
all of us craving for jap food again again :D when we go to thailand, we eat and look forward to eating jap food. and in sing, we still crave for jap food. ha ha, every celebration is always jap cuisine.
yay, was looking forward to eat sakae sushi, despite learning how the food there deteriorated crazily. sis said they went there to eat and it was great, becos they used v little rice for the handrolls, so we decided to give them a chance to impress us. ha ha, no.
mum looks v cute in this photo :D
WORLD PEACE ! ha ha
i think the food is mediocre. ichiban sushi is so much better (: it seems to be a curse that once you reached the most glorious peak of your business, your service and products will start to go downhill. maybe its you being complacent, becos when you are at the top, the ego beats in, thinking that you are the best and no one can override you.
or that your customers became more picky? or that more competitors came into the scene to grab a share of the market.
whatever it is, it tells me not to be complacent. and that the more you have, the more you can lose.
i should have understood the latter, the more you have, the more you can lose. so the lesser you have, the lesser you can lose. i was thinking why didnt i understand this last time when we were playing softball games, should have tried my best since we had nothing to lose in those games. so hold on tight to what i have now, and give in my best for what i want to achieve.
but sometimes, we cant hold on to everything dearly though we wished to.
till then, maybe memories play a great role while we reminisce the good old times. like those footsteps left in each other's life.
hold on(:
happy 47 years (: and many more to go!
wish that dad and mum can be healthy forever, stop being so naggy, and enjoy the brighter side of life (: xx
